Exports decreased by 10.2%, imports decreased by 25.3%

Foreign trade deficit decreased by 49.1%

In November, foreign trade deficit decreased by 49.1% from 8 billion 317 million dollars to 4 billion 236 million dollars.

The ratio of exports to imports increased from 61.1% in November 2014 to 73.5% in November 2015.

Exports decreased by 6.8% compared to seasonally and calendar adjusted series

According to the season and calendar adjusted series; In November 2015, exports and imports decreased by 6.8% and 6.3% respectively. According to the calendar adjusted series; In November 2015, exports and imports decreased by 10.2% and 27.1% compared to the same month of the previous year.




Exports to European Union decreased by 1.5%

The share of the European Union (EU-28) in exports was 43.8% in November 2014 and 48% in November 2015. Exports to the EU decreased by 1.5% compared to the same month of 2014 and amounted to 5 billion 631 million dollars.

Germany was the most exported country

Exports to Germany amounted to 1 billion 199 million dollars in November 2015, followed by the United Kingdom (867 million dollars), Iraq (789 million dollars) and Italy (616 million dollars).

China ranked first in imports

Imports from China in November 2015 was 2 billion dollars. Germany (1 billion 727 million dollars), Russia (1 billion 374 million dollars) and Italy (883 million dollars) followed.




Share of high-tech products in manufacturing industry exports was 4.6%

According to the technology density, the foreign trade data includes the products of the manufacturing industry within the ISIC Rev.3 classification. According to ISIC Rev.3, the share of manufacturing industry products in total exports was 92.4% in November. The share of high technology products in exports of manufacturing industry products is 4.6% and the share of medium high technology products is 33.8%.

Share of high-tech products in manufacturing industry imports was 16.8%

The share of manufacturing industry products in total imports is 81.3%. In November 2015, the share of high technology products in imports of manufacturing industry products was 16.8% and the share of medium high technology products was 45.3%.
