Economic confidence index increased by 13%
The economic confidence index is a composite index that summarizes the evaluations, expectations and trends of consumers and producers regarding the general economic situation. The index consists of weighting the consumer confidence indicator and the normalized sub-indices of the seasonally adjusted manufacturing industry (real sector), services, retail trade and construction sectors. Economic confidence index increased by 13% in October compared to the previous month and rose from 72.13 to 81.48. The increase in the economic confidence index stemmed from the increases in consumer, real sector (manufacturing), retail trade and service sector confidence indices.
Consumer confidence index increased by 7.3% in October compared to the previous month and rose to 62.78. Real sector confidence index increased by 3.7% to 103.20. Retail trade confidence index increased by 2.7% to 98.68. The confidence index of the services sector increased by 0.1% to 97.63. Construction confidence index decreased by 0.5% compared to September and decreased to 80.02.
