Construction Turnover and Production Indices, III. Quarter: July - September, 2017

In general, methods and data source improvement studies are continuing for Short Term Business Statistics. Due to the lack of continuity of the data source of the construction production index, it was decided to use the administrative records, which are the more up-to-date and comprehensive data source, in the calculations. In this context, the construction production index is not included in the first quarter of the 2017 news release and will be published as of 2018 with the retrospective series after the completion of the 2015 base year studies based on administrative records.

Turnover in construction sector increased by 27.1%

Calendar turnover index adjusted for calendar effects, III. increased by 27.1% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Seasonally and calendar adjusted construction turnover index increased by 6.7% quarter-on-quarter.
