The share of other sales in Istanbul's total house sales was 64.8%. Ankara ranked second with 8 016 other housing sales. Ankara was followed by İzmir with the sale of 4 347 houses. Ardahan was the province with the least sales of 9 other houses.

56 498 housing units sold for the first time

Housing sales to foreigners increased by 11.4% year-on-year to 1 684. In August 2017, Istanbul ranked first in terms of sales to foreigners with 524 sales. Istanbul was followed by Antalya with 376 sales, Yalova with 103 sales, Aydın with 101 sales, Bursa with 100 sales and Trabzon with 99 sales.
According to the nationality of the country, the highest number of homes sold to Iraqi citizens
Iraqi citizens in August bought 317 from Turkey. Iraq was followed by Saudi Arabia with 198 houses, Kuwait with 135 houses, Russian Federation with 95 houses and Afghanistan with 81 houses.
