Number of slaughtered chicken increased by 20.5% in October when compared to the previous month and 23.9% when compared to the same month of the previous year. The number of turkeys slaughtered in October increased by 20.2% compared to the previous month and increased by 22.6% compared to the same month of the previous year.
Chicken meat production was 185 891 tons and turkey meat production was 4 946 tons.
Chicken meat production increased by 19.9% in October compared to the previous month and increased by 25% compared to the same month of the previous year. Turkey meat production increased by 9.5% in October compared to the previous month and 14.2% compared to the same month of the previous year.
