The highest increase in seasonally and calendar adjusted main industrial groups in durable consumer goods

According to the Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs) classification, the highest increase in February 2016 compared to the previous month was 2.1% in durable consumer goods manufacturing.

The highest increase in seasonally and calendar adjusted manufacturing industry was realized in the manufacture of computers, electronics and optical products.

In February 2016, the highest increase was 7.4% in the manufacturing of computers, electronics and optical products. This increase was followed by the manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products by 5.8% and the production of electrical equipment by 5.6%.

The highest decrease in seasonally and calendar adjusted manufacturing industry in other transportation vehicles

Analyzing the sub-sectors of manufacturing industry, the highest decrease was 25,5% in February 2016 when compared to the previous month. This decline was followed by the production of coke and refined petroleum products with 11.2% and the production of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceuticals with 3.5%.
