According to the provisional results, the number of active radio and television institutions was 1 190 in 2014
77.7% of these broadcasting institutions are broadcasting in terrestrial environment (1) and 22.3% are broadcasting only via satellite, cable or internet.
79.3% of the institutions broadcasting in terrestrial environment broadcasted radio
11.7% of these broadcasting institutions made television broadcasting and 9% of them broadcasting radio and television.
Local broadcasting institutions accounted for 86.8% of terrestrial broadcasting
8,5% of the institutions broadcasting in terrestrial environment were regional broadcasting institutions and 4,6% were national broadcasting institutions.
60.4% of total employment consisted of national broadcasting institutions in terrestrial environments.
In 2014, 15.7% of the employees in radio and television institutions worked in local broadcasting institutions and 4.9% in regional broadcasting institutions. Only satellite, cable or internet broadcasting institutions accounted for 19% of total employment.
